Hope i could give zero stars to this place. Pay a lot on taxes for such a poor service. Hours of operation are nonsense. Wont let you in unless a resident. Can't bring your own food but they dont offer ANY healthy food at all. Dirty bathrooms. Rude customer service. Very disappointed

So I saw this place while driving on US1 and thought I'd take my son.
My wife works a few blocks away and i decided to take the ride with her and go check this spot out.
Turns out you have to be a Miami Shores Resident to even get in. You have to show proof of residency. It says guest are $8 but that means guest of the people you know that live in Miami Shores.
So basically what this all means is that they're trying to keep all the ghetto out lol.Helpful 9Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 2 - PJ M.Miami, FL018Jul 1, 2020
I swim laps there. OMG!!! They just had their pool re-surfaced and swimming could not be better! Unfortunately...... they kick you out after 45 minutes whether or not anyone is even around. Someone has really gone off the deep end with social distancing.

Some of our good friends live in miami shores so we got a social membership, which lets us use the water park here. It lets us do a few other things, but so far this is all we've utilized.
The daughter loves it here. There are two huge slides, which the lines are never long for. There are a few smaller slides too, and they are all set in a huge shallow area that the kids can play easily in, while i sit by the side of the pool reading entertainment weekly.
There is also a regular swimming pool where you can swim laps and play.
In other words, you can spend a day there. But you aren't allowed to bring in any outside food or drink and even though they have a decent priced snack bar, the food is mainly kid stuff - pizza, chicken fingers and hot dogs. That's why they are only four stars. You should be able to bring in some fruit and water at least.Helpful 9Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Terry B.Miami, FL2796475Nov 2, 2018
I just wish that our Miami Shores Pool will be open longer hours specially Saturday's and sundays. It's the days we have off to go enjoy and closing it at 5 P.M. it's ok for the employees that work there but not for all the residents of Miami Shores

We moved to Miami Shores (live right next to the MIAMI SHORES PUBLIX). Our son was super excited to go here. We went there and after looking at our address, announced sorry, you can't come in. You don't live in Miami Shores. Excuse me? Turns out, because of the ways the lines are drawn we live on the line of El Portal and Miami Shores. Who cares??
To this aquatic center: major FAIL. Especially since we live on the line. It's not like I live in Brickell. I live here. IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD. And shame on you for turning an excited little five year old because of this.Helpful 16Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Kristin F.Miami, FL592631Aug 4, 2015
Great hangout for families. Not crowded because it's only open to residents of Miami Shores and guests. I would have given 5 stars except tge food selection is poor. Hot dogs, pizza, chips, ice cream etc. Would like to see healthier options, especially since they don't allow outside food & drinks.

I go frequently there with my daughter. It is really nice!
She loves to slide and the one she cannot go because she is to small I go with her without problem.
There is one lifeguard I have no idea of his name but he is really nice. He clap when the kids are sliding and you see he really enjoy. Thanks for ur enthusiasm, it is really cool.
After sliding I love to go in the big pool playing basket water:)! With my husband and my daughter chase us with her swimmy....so funny.
I never went really to swim but if you want to do it there is an area reserved, you even can take your palm it is authorized!
Finally when we are done, we finish with an ice cream, and it is the perfect day:) all together.
The price is 4$ is you live in Miami shore.....have fuuuuuuun!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ginger H.Miami, FL613182Jul 2, 2010
Took the kiddo here today on a play date and we ALL had a blast. My daughter and I both went down the water slides about 300 times. There were kids of all ages here, from 2 all the way to 52. And there was something for each one of them to enjoy. My daughter really liked the pool "animals." They are big enough for the kids to ride on and all have fountains of some sort coming from their mouth, whale spout, etc ... Plus, there were lots of fountains to walk into, through and under. There are all kinds of slides, even some appropriate for her age. I'm glad I checked it out. I've been driving by it for years and had no idea it was open to the public. It's $6 for non-Shore residents, which means it was the best $12 we've spent all week.
